The office of Solace Health is located in a craftsman style house built in 1898 on the corner of Tacoma Street and SE 15th Avenue in the Sellwood neighborhood of Portland. Combining a blend of the old and new, our office offers a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that stands in stark contrast to what most patients have come to expect from their doctor’s office. While the majority of your visits can be handled in a comfortable sitting room, we also have a more traditional, modern medical exam room when surgical procedures or more intimate exams are required. Despite the warm and relaxed feel of the office, Solace Health offers state-of-the-art family medicine employing electronic medical records, direct email and texting access to Dr Shilland, and a secure online patient portal for accessing your medical information.
Our standard appointments are one hour in length which ensures that you will have an unhurried visit with Dr. Shilland during which all of your concerns and questions can be addressed. This also means you won’t have to spend your day in a waiting room, we are ready to see you at your appointment time. For any urgent medical needs, we guarantee same-day service. No longer will you need to wait days or even weeks for an appointment.
Solace Health provides patient-focused care. We want to know you as a person, recognize your face and name, understand your needs and expectations and build a true patient-physician relationship. To this end, we limit the amount of patients in our practice to less than 20% of the number an average family practice doctor manages. This allows us to spend extra time with you, face-to-face, on the phone, or online.
